Bees Knees is a small business run by passionate surfers.
It came about due to a frustration with the current "surf industry" and toxic products.
The surfing world has largely become dominated by corporations mass-producing poor quality products in an unsustainable manner.
We set out to make a product that performed well, was non- polluting and was sustainable and to give surfers a better choice.
We remain committed to these goals with continual testing and refining of our products and production methods.

Our organic surf wax has been tested and proven around the world in such places as Australia, New Zealand, Indonesia, Micronesia, Tahiti, California, Hawaii, Peru, Sri Lanka, Maldives, France and Morocco.

All the ingredients in Bees Knees Surf Wax are 100% naturally organic. We use a blend of Australian beeswax, plant oils and plant resins to provide an organic surf wax that works great, for you and the environment.

Most surf waxes are made from paraffin which is a bi-product of crude oil and the petroleum industry. This is then blended with chemical
adhesives, chemical perfumes, chemical colours and even plastisols. These ingredients end up in our ocean and often produce rashes on the skin of those who use them.

Some brands have introduced soy-based waxes as a "natural" alternative. The soy beans used for this type of wax are almost always chemically grown GMO soy which then goes through an industrial process involving many more chemicals to produce the wax. At the end of this process the soy wax is still very soft and needs to be blended with paraffin to create a solid wax. There is said to be even more petro-chemicals used in producing this type of wax than what is used to produce paraffin. So these waxes are hardly organic, natural or sustainable.

All our ingredients are organic, non-toxic, sustainably harvested and bio-degradable. Our minimal packaging is made from recycled waste paper and our processing is done using a bio-char stove. This process is regarded as carbon-negative as it burns scrap wood or fallen sticks in a pyrolitic process that produces bio-char, a valuable asset to the earth.

SHIPPING 

How much does shipping cost? 

Australia:
Standard Shipping is free on most items and included in the cost of your purchase, tracking is not included. Some bulkier items will incur a $7.5 shipping fee, just to cover some of the postage costs, we still pay for half so don't get too upset. The reason for this is so we can keep the prices of our independent suppliers at the place they want to be at. For orders $0.01-$75 Express Shipping is $10. For orders $75.01-$124.99 Express Shipping is $15. To qualify for free Express Domestic Shipping spend over $125. To qualify for free International Shipping spend over $300. 

Rest of the World:
$25-$75 depending on weight. Free international shipping on orders over $300. 

How long will it take for my order to arrive?

We do our best to process orders within 24 hours of when you place them. For Domestic Orders allow 2-5 business days after processing.For International Orders allow 14-28 business days after processing. Express deliveries within in Australia are subject to Australia Post's next day delivery network. (keep in mind we still need that 24 hours to process the order) Standard Shipping is sent with Australia Post and as such is at the whim of their delivery time frames, generally most orders arrive within 2-5 business days. In some cases tracking information may be available and will be included in your shipping confirmation email. 

Can I track my order?

Some orders do include order tracking. Please contact us at hello@stockandsupply.com.au for your tracking information, please only do so after receiving shipping confirmation. We won't have anything for you before then.  

RETURNS/EXCHANGES

General Info

Exchanges or returns will only be processed within the required 10-day period from date of delivery. No refunds given on sale items, only exchanges accepted.

We recommend that you use a shipping service that allows you to trace your return or exchange, as we can't be held responsible for lost packages. If you receive an item that is faulty or damaged please contact us and we will organise a replacement for you. 

CONDITIONS FOR RETURNS/EXCHANGES

You may return any purchased item for an exchange within 10 days of the date of delivery. Items not received within that 10 day period will not be accepted. Please contact us to notify us of your return and the reason, also include your order number and date. Due to limited stock levels we cannot guarantee the availability of merchandise for exchange. For returns & exchanges, items must be returned in perfect saleable condition. Items must be unwashed and unworn with all original packaging. By ‘perfect sellable condition’ we do not expect the garments to be necessarily plastic wrapped and perfectly folded, but we are certainly unable to accept them for return if;

* They are marked, soiled, stretched, bleached or damaged in anyway.
* They are scented with aftershave, perfume or deodorant.
* They have been washed.
* The soles have been warn outside
* The inner sole is covered in sock fluff or hair

We cannot refund any shipping costs incurred in your original order, you will also need to pay to return the items to us. In the unlikely event your item is faulty we will look after the shipping charges. For international exchanges you will need to pay for shipping for the new items on their way to you. 

Sale Items: 

Goods purchased on Sale are not eligible for refunds. 
Sale items can be exchanged, postal charges will be incurred by the customer for the new item to be sent. 

CANCELLATIONS

If you want to cancel your order please notify us asap. If cancelled before your order ships we will issue a full refund upon your instruction. Cut off time for shipping is usually 2pm, we don't ship or deliver at the weekend or public holidays.

CHRISTMAS SHIPPING: 

Please be aware that we ship with Australia Post and due to this we are at the whim of their delivery services. Around the Christmas season, their delivery times can blow out. We strongly recommend you take advantage of the Express Shipping option at checkout during this period. As long as you are in their overnight delivery areas, you'll get your package the day after it's shipped. Unfortunately there's nothing we can do to speed up regular post deliveries, so keep that in mind when purchasing.
